Today Ljushemmet carries around 140 products across lighting, storage, planters, garden tools, outdoor furniture, and seasonal accessories. The site is updated four times a year to match the seasons. Autumn is the biggest moment: heavier ceramics, warmer textiles, lanterns, and outdoor furniture covers arrive in September. Orders ship from the Örebro warehouse within one working day of payment, tracked all the way. Maja still writes every product description herself, and still removes anything that gets more than two complaints about quality. The shop is small by design, and that is not going to change.

Unused items can be returned within 30 days. We send a prepaid return label by email. No phone calls, no forms to print.

A few words from us
Maja Lindström
Founder, Established since 2019
Maja Lindströmömöm spent eight years as a visual merchandiser for a large Swedish furniture chain before founding Ljushemmet in Örebro in 2019. She trained in interior design at Beckmans Designhögskola in Stockholm and later worked on store layouts across Sweden and Denmark. The frustration of watching well-photographed products arrive thin and disappointing pushed her to start something smaller and more honest. She has visited every producer in the current range in person, including two ceramics studios in Portugal. Outside the shop, she grows tomatoes on her balcony every summer and keeps a running list of lamps she wants to make herself one day.

Vilka betalningsmetoder accepterar ni?
We accept Klarna (invoice, installments, and direct payment), Visa, Mastercard via Stripe, and Swish. All transactions are processed in SEK. Card details are never stored on our servers. Payment is handled entirely by the processor.

Standard delivery within Sweden takes 2-4 working days from the day after payment is confirmed. Every order gets a tracking link by email as soon as it leaves the Örebro warehouse. If your order has not moved within 5 working days, contact us and we will investigate with the carrier.
